Rivesse popped up on my IG feed as an ad for custom-made grooms outfits. A month later I met Ishan at a dream shaadi event in Northern VA. Their fabrics and design choices were very impressive so I decided to work with them. The process for designing my sherwani was very simple and only took an hour of guidance. We worked together to figure out what types of ideas worked within my budget, and then Ishan ran with those ideas and sent me over a mockup a couple weeks later. Ishan was very professional and helpful throughout the process and sent me production updates and videos to illustrate progress. The turnaround was extremely fast, which was appreciated because my wedding got preponed by 6 months due to some family concerns. He shipped it straight to my home and everything fit perfectly, no need for additional size adjustments. The full outfit includes a kurta, dhoti pants, sherwani, dupatta, saffa, matching shoes and some jewelry. If I have any gripe on the process, it was that I didn’t have a large choice of jewelry (malas and kalgis) to attempt to color-match my fiance a little bit.
